Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and organized Sales Lot Porter to join our team. In this role, you will be key to keeping our dealership running smoothly. Your primary responsibilities will include managing lot layout, safely moving inventory, and supporting the team with administrative inventory tasks such as tracking keys and physical lot audits.

Key Responsibilities

Lot Operations & Vehicle Movement

  • Lot Organization: Keep the inventory lot arranged, clean, and visually appealing to maximize customer presentation and drive foot traffic.

  • Vehicle Movement: Move, park, and relocate vehicles across the lot, showroom, and service bay quickly and safely.

  • Inventory Readiness: Perform basic vehicle prep, including inspecting for minor damage, verifying fuel/battery levels, and ensuring inventory is ready for test drives or delivery.

  • Transport Support: Assist with shuttle runs, customer drops, or transport between company locations as required.

Administrative & Inventory Support

  • Key Management: Maintain, organize, and audit key tracking systems to ensure all vehicle keys are accounted for and accessible.

  • Vehicle Tagging: Apply window stickers, stock tags, and mirror hangtags to ensure inventory is properly identified and priced on the lot.

  • Lot Audits: Conduct regular physical inventory checks against system logs to verify vehicle locations and status.

  • Team Assistance: Provide general operational support to the management team during peak business hours.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be maintainable).

  • Skills: Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (or a willingness to learn manual).

  • Attention to Detail: High organizational skills, particularly when managing key organization and physical inventory placement.

  • Work Ethic: Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing/walking for extended periods.
